The WordBelts system combines Dolch, Fry, and Benchmark sight words to create a complete and structured learning path.

All duplicate words have been removed, and the remaining words are carefully organized by difficulty, allowing students to build skills step by step.

There are a total of 420 sight words divided across 14 levels, starting at Yellow Belt and progressing to Master Black Belt.

Each level is designed to:

  • Introduce words at the right level of difficulty

  • Build reading fluency over time

  • Prepare students for success during testing

This structure makes it easy for teachers to track student progress, identify who is ready to test, and support students as they move toward mastery.
